About Double Barrel

Double Barrel is a family-owned and operated fireworks store with two locations. It has over 300 items to celebrate explosively for any occasion, but definitely for the 4th of July and New Year’s Eve. Sales also occur every Memorial Day Weekend. Double Barrel is competitive with pricing and will have unique products exclusively for these locations.

Our History

Double Barrel was established over 30 years ago with one outdoor stand at Holiday Ranch in Lilian, Texas, where families could cut down their own Christmas trees, pick pumpkins, and, of course, buy and pop some fireworks. The busiest holiday was the 4th of July, so as one stand became four over time, the owners had a vision of moving indoors to have a vast selection of fireworks and beat the Texas heat.

We stop by to get some fireworks...the people who work there are very helpful and
Knowable about the firework as far as when you shoot them off if they go high or not very high off the ground.
Thanks for being very helpful. You hate spending money on something and it's disappointing.

Great selection and friendly staff. We've been coming here for a few years. The building is air conditioned and they have shopping carts. It's much nicer than standing outside in the heat and having to lift your kids up to be able to see what they have to offer. They have everything from the big box types to a wide selection of tanks/planes/funny small stuff.

Great place! we've been here 3 times this week just stocking up. selection is great and so are their prices. they have deals on several things too. definitely recommend you stopping by this warehouse.

We spent a bit over $400 in fireworks for New Year's at this place. Over $250 of it just on mortars. One package of artillery we bought alone was $159 plus tax. We had to drive 45 minutes to find a place to safely fire our stuff, which was fine, except literally less than 30% of this huge artillery package did anything! I called the warehouse twice and spoke to a great employee, Megan. She said bring some of the bad shells and we could have either more fireworks or a refund. We decided a refund just due to the hard part of having a place to shoot more off. My husband gets there and he's told no refund. The owner is a serious jerk. I ask my husband if I can talk to the guy, I just want to explain what happened last night, and he refused to talk to me. So I called the store directly. The guy cut me off and said, "ma'am, I'm not talking to you, the guys are here, I'll talk to them, not you." And hung up on me!! I called Megan (she was even awesome enough to have given me her number the night before) she was pulling up & said she'd deal with the owner and get things taken care of.
My husband called me back and said the guy still refused to refund anything, just offered us the larger package of mortars in exchange. Basically to get us out. What a horrible business man that won't even honor what a customer is told. We will NOT be back, because literally everything we bought from these guys was crap.
The fuse came right out of the (crappy) finale we bought, so we had to rig it to go off, the other artillery package admittedly was nice, just a couple duds. Seriously, out of over $400 there was more disappointments with duds, fizzles and just junk than any enjoyment.
Just go to another warehouse or regular stand. This place is horrid.

Edit: the owner ended up giving my husband a giant package of more mortars. My husband just accepted it for not wanting to deal with it anymore. The owner asked if this would make me happy. Um, no. We'll NOT be back. Stick by what you tell your customers.

We just drove 45 minutes to purchase fireworks, and they were closed. Advertised hours are until 8 pm and it was 6:45.

Very friendly staff, great location, clean and neat, great variety and I honestly know nothing about the pricing of these products so I can’t say anything about that aspect. I felt secure with the sheriff there! Plenty of parking right off Hwy 14.
